Organic farming can as an approach to agriculture where the aim is to create integrated, humane, environmentally and economically sustainable agricultural production systems are defined. The aim of theSustainability lies at the heart of organic farming and is one of the most important factors for the acceptance or otherwise of specific production processes. The term "sustainable" is used in the broadest sense to include not only the conservation of renewable resources (land, energy, minerals) but also issues of environmental, economic and social sustainability.
