Travel Toronto - Beaches boardwalk & dog off-leash area

This morning I met my volleyball friends Randy and Arne a little mountain biking adventure. We started at the mouth of the Don Taylor Creek Park and made our way south along a narrow mountain path on the west side of the Don. Just south of the Leaside Bridge we arrived at a makeshift mountain bike fun park in the sandy hill, built in the middle of the forest. I've never had this area and was just significant at this playground for mountain bikers, all built of amazedsandy and muddy hill. Someone had put a ton of work in the construction of ramps and jumps made of sand, and there was even an old bicycle, which in a human-powered energy source for a pump, the water supply had become irrigate the terrain park - ingenious. We drove south and stopped at the Don Valley Brickworks, a former industrial site (founded in producing 1889), who used stones for many of the settlements in Toronto. Also famous buildings like Casa Loma, OsgoodeHall, Queens Park and Massey Hall used bricks made at the brickyard. The plant production in the 1980s and has been abandoned since then, although since the restoration began in 1994. The former quarry at the northern end were filled with material from the construction of the Scotiabank Tower and the whole countryside was, and now has three ponds with native wildflower gardens.
